Attitude
Life will never be perfect. Its our attitude that determines our happiness.
I have heard the above plenty of times, and have preached it to many plenty of times. But yesterday J Meyer on GOD tv, challenged the audience - 'Have you been through one day without ever murmuring?' I thought about it. I don't compain very much, but boy do I murmur.
Murmurings - the word sounds like what it means. England lost - it was unfair - Portuguese are cheats - work is a pain - bosses in UK are useless - mur-mur-mur-mur-mur... Not loud, well expressed complaints, but soft, muted murmurings.
So I've decided to kill 50% of today's murmurs, and accept England's and Germany's exit from the World Cup. My attitude - somedays I'm the pigeon and somedays I'm the statue!
